In my 15 years working in various industries, I have gained experience in many genres of Photography. Whether it be music festivals, architectural, portraits or breaking news; the fundamentals remain the same.

If you are new to Photography, or looking to expand your knowledge, I have a range of lessons that can help. All classes are limited to groups of 4 and available across Essex.
-Introduction to Photography - £90 / 3 hours
Switching from auto to full manual mode
Understanding of shutter speed, aperture and ISO
Rules of composition and controlling depth of field
Editing images using Photoshop and Lightroom
Whether you are photographing a family member, a speeding car or a meteor shower, learning the basics of camera operation and shot composition can help you to grow as a Photographer. Many aspects and terminology can seem complicated and daunting with abbreviations, acronyms and industry slang. This course is designed to make sense and simplify the function of your camera and help unlock your creative potential.
Thinking of buying a drone or new to the hobby? This course is for you. Operator ID, Flyer ID, EASA laws, VLOS, SSSI zones, A2CofC qualification. It can be overwhelming to a beginner and advice online can be convoluted and misleading.
-Introduction to Drone Photography and Operation- £90 / 3 hours
Explanation and written guide of credentials required to fly legally and safely
Breakdown of laws and restrictions in the UK, including max height, flight permissions and visible line of sight
Photo settings and composition
Video settings and smooth flight controls including panning and gimbal operation
Practical experimenting with various modes (drone dependant) including panoramic, sphere 360, HDR merge and AEB photos
Editing footage in Lightroom and Premier Pro
Drone photography opens up a whole new way to see and capture the world. This course is designed to give you the knowledge and practical experience to help build confidence. Locations of classes are varied dependant on what you would like to capture during the class (towns, coastal, forests etc).
Not local to East Anglia or prefer online learning? This course is for you. Lessons are taught over Discord and can be catered to suite your needs.

Offline support in real time
When I first began shooting in 2009, I focused primarily on landscape photography, using trial and error to learn the basics. There is no substitute for this. Much of photography is learning from the mistakes made and constantly pushing yourself to grow. The aim of my online course is not to replace but to reinforce this process. By switching to manual as early as possible, the full potential of photography can be accessed. Much of the terminology and settings seem daunting, however being in full control every shot comes naturally with practice.
